Why Edelmood NFT
Why NFTs? This question has been central since the inception of Jumpbuiz. My ambition was to establish a vast community that supports me not just financially but with their enthusiasm as well. I aim to create an IT solution that assists various groups of people. I wish to keep the details under wraps until the financing is secured, but it’s undoubtedly a mammoth project. So, how do you finance such an endeavor while simultaneously involving so many people? NFTs! An innovative way to own digital assets globally. It’s truly amazing what we have achieved technologically. Unfortunately, I am deeply disappointed by our political confusion, our destructiveness, and the unfair distribution of wealth and poverty. I see that many of us yearn for a better or fairer way.
That’s why I promised that if I am fortunate enough to receive sufficient support, I will establish a foundation dedicated to supporting world-improving projects. These projects could include reforesting the Earth, promoting education in educationally disadvantaged countries, supporting new community projects for the financially underprivileged, and advocating for the conservation of wild animals. This foundation should be firmly integrated within the company.
Working on the dream
A Little Smalltalk with ChatGPT
User: Why does our Earth need a new economic model? The Earth and humanity are at a turning point. We are aware of global warming and its effects. Additionally, the extinction of our wildlife and seas and the increase in toxic waste are leading directly to a catastrophe, perhaps even to the downfall of the Earth, maybe we will still experience it in our lifetime. How to change, how to proceed? It’s easy to talk about mistakes, but shouldn’t we be able to see tomorrow and give the Earth a new direction? With artificial intelligence, potentially more and more jobs will be lost, the question is how quickly we can completely replace a job, this security should give us all something to think about, because with a steadily growing population and the replacement of humans, what is the goal?
Assistant: The urgency of a new economic model for our Earth arises from a multitude of profound and interconnected challenges that you have already mentioned: global warming, loss of biodiversity, pollution, and the potential impacts of artificial intelligence on the job market. These issues signal that the current economic model, which is heavily based on continuous growth, resource exploitation, and an endless culture of consumption, is not sustainable. A new economic model would need to integrate several core aspects to address these challenges:
Sustainability: A sustainable economic model focuses on the preservation of the environment and responsible resource management. It recognizes that ecological limits must be respected to secure the well-being of future generations.
Circular Economy: An advancement of sustainability is the circular economy, which aims to minimize waste and reuse resources in a closed loop. This approach promotes the longevity, renewability, and recycling of products and materials.
Social Justice: A new economic model must also promote social justice and equality. This includes fair working conditions, equal access to resources and opportunities, and the reduction of inequalities.
Adapting to Digitalization and Automation: The impacts of artificial intelligence and automation on the job market require innovative solutions, such as education and retraining programs, to facilitate the transition into new fields of employment. Moreover, concepts like universal basic income could play a role in ensuring social security.
Participative Governance: Involving citizens in decision-making and strengthening local communities can help make decisions more transparent, fair, and sustainable.
To achieve such a model, a broad spectrum of initiatives and measures is required, ranging from global agreements and national laws to local projects and individual actions. Technology and innovation can be important tools, but they must be embedded in a framework that supports the principles mentioned above.
The challenge is to manage this transition in an inclusive way that leaves no one behind. It involves creating new economic structures that are not only ecologically sustainable but also socially just. It’s not just about solving current problems but also about shaping a future-proof, resilient, and livable world for everyone.
User: How would you proceed to quickly develop these goals globally without any excuses for humanity?
Assistant: To quickly and globally work on the goals mentioned and to leave no excuses for humanity, a multi-layered approach would be required that is initiated both from the top-down (by governments and large organizations) and from the bottom-up (by individuals and communities). Here are some strategic steps that could be considered:
1. Strengthen Global Cooperation
International Agreements: Renew and strengthen existing international agreements with binding targets that focus on sustainability and social justice. An example could be an expanded and stricter version of the Paris Agreement, which also includes aspects of the circular economy and social justice.
Global Platforms for Knowledge and Technology Exchange: Establish global platforms that facilitate the exchange of knowledge, technologies, and best practices to help countries and regions grow more effectively in a sustainable way.
2. Create Political and Legal Frameworks
Sustainable Legislation: Implement national and local legislations that promote sustainable practices and support the transition to renewable energies, circular economy, and social justice.
Promotion of Research and Innovation: Invest in research and development for sustainable technologies and practices, and encourage innovation through incentives and subsidies.
3. Realign Economy and Finance
Ecological Tax Reform: Implement tax reforms that tax environmentally harmful practices and subsidize eco-friendly alternatives.
Sustainable Investments and Financing: Promote sustainable investments by creating frameworks that make it more attractive for companies and financial institutions to invest in sustainable projects and technologies.
4. Education and Awareness
Education for Sustainable Development: Integrate education programs focused on sustainable development at all levels of education to raise awareness and empower future generations.
Public Awareness Campaigns: Conduct comprehensive information campaigns to raise awareness and understanding of the urgency of the situation and the necessary changes.
5. Empower Civil Society and Local Initiatives
Support Grassroots Movements: Strengthen local communities and non-governmental organizations through financial means, education, and technical support to promote sustainable bottom-up initiatives.
**Participatory Decision
Establish mechanisms for broader public participation in political decision-making to ensure that actions meet the needs and desires of the population.
6. Leverage Technology and Innovation
Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization: Use advanced technologies to develop and implement sustainable solutions in areas like energy, agriculture, transport, and waste management.
Open Source and Open Innovation Approaches: Promote the open exchange of ideas and technologies to accelerate the development and dissemination of sustainable solutions.
7. Promote Global Justice and Equality
Support for Developing Countries: Ensure that developing countries have access to financial resources, technologies, and knowledge to sustainably manage their development.
Focus on Equality: Ensure that all measures prioritize equity and leave no one behind, addressing the needs of the most vulnerable and marginalized groups.
